Biography
Jimmy Suzan is a Montreal-based artist known for portraits and sci-fi fan art rendered in vibrant colors and a realist style.
In 2009, Jimmy was invited to create a new visual identity for the Montreal Comiccon. His artwork is still in use and can be spotted at events across Canada.
Jimmy’s current project is Migrasyon, a full-length graphic novel set to be released in 2025 by Les Éditions de la Pastèque. Migrasyon unravels the mysteries of a family’s Haitian roots and immigration to Montreal in the early 1970s.
In 2009, Jimmy self-published Tricomb Dynasty, a sci-fi series featuring a trio of unlikely heroes from the Bee tribes who inhabit a world governed by insects. When the hive and its queen are threatened, the heroes embark on a quest to enlist the help of Krugr the Defiant One, a legendary warrior with the power to unleash the destructive forces of a thousand screaming stars.
