OTTAWA COMICCON CELEBRATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY THIS YEAWITH THE NINTH DOCTOR, CHRISTOPHER ECCELSTON!
 

Ottawa (Ontario), June 21, 2023. – Ottawa Comiccon will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year and organizers are thrilled to announce that English actor CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON will be appearing on Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10 at the EY Centre for autographs, photo ops and an on-stage appearance. Eccleston is best known for playing the ninth incarnation of the Doctor in the extremely popular series Doctor Who on the BBC. He is also known for his roles in the critically acclaimed series HBO The Leftovers from Damon Lindelof and Tom Perotta, portrayed the villainous Malekith in Marvel Studios’ Thor: The Dark World (2013), and had impactful role in Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later (2002).
 
Over the course of three days, the event will be packed with hundreds of activities, including celebrity autograph, photo op sessions, and more than 50 panels and workshops ranging from 300 to 1500 attendees. Conferences will cover every fantastic subject imaginable, from comics to cosplay, gaming and also the famous masquerade contest. The public can expect many more surprises!
