Ottawa (Ontario) Tuesday, June 11, 2024 – Ottawa Comiccon is proud to announce that none other than English comedian JOHN CLEESE will be in the Nation’s Capital this September. Best known for his character of Mr. Praline in the comedy troupe Monty Python (1969-1983), which he co-founded, John Cleese went on to star in many Monty Python films such as Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975), Life of Brian (1979) and The Meaning of Life (1983). He also appeared as Nearly Headless Nick, a friendly ghost, in the first two Harry Potter films (Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone[2001] and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets [2002]).
Also previously announced is the Vikings star, ALEXANDER LUDWIG (Vikings, Heels, The Hunger Games, Grown Ups 2), who will be present to meet fans on Saturday, September 7, 2024 ONLY.
