Biography

Christina Chong is an English actress known for playing the role of La'an Noonien-Singh on Paramount+’s hit series, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

She made her TV debut in 2011 on the Doctor Who episode “A Good Man Goes to War” (S06E07), appearing alongside Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darville, and Alex Kingston. In 2013, she appeared on the Black Mirror episode “The Waldo Moment.” She had several recurring or starring roles in different series, including in Halo: Nightfall as Macer, 24: Live Another Day as Mariana, Line of Duty as DI Nicola Rogerson, Dominion as Zoe, and Heirs of the Night as Calvina.

Chong has also appeared in a few feature films, including Legacy (2010) alongside Idris Elba and Christmas Eve (2015) alongside Sir Patrick Stewart. She had filmed scenes for Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), but those ended up on the cutting room floor.
