Amber Midthunder is an American actress best known for having starred as Naru in Prey (2022), the fifth installment of the Predator franchise. She was a series regular in the Marvel series, Legion for FX (currently available on Disney+ in Canada) and the CW Series, Roswell, New Mexico.
She has also guest starred on Longmire, Banshee, The Originals and Reservation Dogs.
On the big screen she was part of the cast in the Oscar Nominated film Hell or High Water (2016), opposite Jeff Bridges and Chris Pine, as well as in Priceless (2016), opposite David Koechner. Midthunder also starred in the 13 Cameras-sequel, the crime horror drama 14 Cameras (2018), helmed by Seth Fuller and Scott Hussion. Then came two back-to-back 2021 movies with Liam Neeson – The Marksman and The Ice Road. Most recently she starred in Centurion: The Dancing Stallion (2023).
In late 2022, it was announced that she would portray Princess Yue, in the upcoming live action Netflix series, Avatar: The Last Airbender.
She is a member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribe.
